Hello Ploggers, how are you? Here we are on a happy Saturday in March. It is good weather and I am still hunkering down from this big❄️ winter we are having. After this last election, we the 93% made a decision going forward. We felt 😭rejection as Kamala lost the election. The loss was ours and we felt it personally. We decided to sit back and watch the country implode. If you didn’t want us, we wouldn’t interfere with your path. But, and there is a big BUT coming up. Let’s get into it.

One thing about this new administration is that they have acted with lightning⚡️ speed and focus. They came out of the box swinging. It seemed like 45 had used the four years off to fantasize about the day he would return and wreak retribution and havoc on us all. He had actually studied for the test…probably the first time in his life. He was ready. Many of us said we were going to get our popcorn🌽 and 👀watch the crap show unfold. Some of us (not me) thought it would actually be funny. Well, let me tell you, it is not funny. It is devastating to sit back and watch things like our rights and Democracy go away. In my case, I find it impossible to watch and not want to do something. We have predecesors like Fannie Lou Hammer, Mamie Till-Mobley, Angela Davis, Ida B. Wells, Rosa Parks, Harriett Tubman etc. We share a vision and strong African DNA. It is hard to be passive. Last weekend when Picketers were out in front of🚙 Tesla, I did nothing. But as I drove by and saw the picketers at Tesla, I loudly beeped my horn and waved in support.

Now I see people begging for help. The candidates for the election down in Florida which will decide the house majority are begging for help. Normally I would shell out💰 funds for them. In the past I have gotten on the phone banks and helped organize and outreach. There are black out days scheduled to not buy anything. We have been provided the lists of who to support depending on their handling of DEI. We are shopping at stores we normally wouldn’t. Costco here we come. We are only doing small things to protest. But it is hard to sit back and watch especially when it seems like we can make an economic difference. Look what happened with Target? They dropped DEI and their stockholders sued them when their profits fell. We all shop continuously. We may as well spend our money wisely.

The Right is fueled these days by💸 Billionaires and power hungry Oligarchs and seemingly The👺 Devil. They are a rage machine with sites set on the destruction of Federal agencies, immigrants, poor people, Civil Rights and American allies. Can we really afford to sit back and do nothing while these big things are being up-ended? That is a tall order for me. I am a proud member of the 93%. We vote, We organize. We lead! RECLAIM!
