A Good Christian Woman
Hello Ploggers how are you all. Today is such a cuddle day. It is cool and damp and cloudy. My daughter and I are sitting here with the đ±cats watching Saturday afternoon TV. Not much on TV so we are also looking at our phones a lot.
Last week certain things were trending. One of them was of a certain Senator from Alabama. Yep it was Tommy Tuberville. He is a Trump backed republican who is getting attention as a Pro Lifer. He is a retired college football coach from Auburn University. A dubious background for a senator. Mo Brooks, a former Congressman was running for the same seat until he fell out of favor with 45 and was accused of being too âwokeâ! Tuberville easily won with 45âs endorsement. Tuberville has been noticeably holding up approving Bidenâs picks for Military leadership. His reasoning is where the Pro Life thing comes into play. It turns out that the military supports womenâs reproductive rights and pays for abortion care for enlistees covered under their health plan.
Tuberville wants to see the military change its abortion care policy. He is using his vote as a wedge and a hammer on their policies. Even while the country is in dire need of fulfillment for these military jobs Tuberville persists in his obstruction.
Last week Tuberville made disparaging remarks about Biden and the falls that he has recently had. But Old Lady Karma was right there to fix that. As he descended a flight of stars from an airplane, he took a tumble and slid all the way down on his backside. Bump Bump Bump!! None of his team even tried to help him up. Here is where the Good Christian woman in me comes up. When I saw this world class fall and bump bump bump on his backside I wanted tođ roar like everyone else. I was taught that you donât laugh when someone else falls. What is a good Christian woman to do? Just as Tuberville had been saying snarky remarks about Biden falling and BOOM down he goes. So if not for religious training, mother Karma is a strong deterrent too. So I will picture the Tuberville Tumble and watch the Tik Tok videos, smile đ to myself and just keep it moving and RECLAIM!
