And again Liz Cheney

Hello Ploggers, how are you doing? Hoping all is well. We are in that in between period between Christmas and New Year’s. Many of us are planning our New Year’s Resolutions. It is a hopeful time for evaluating, reckoning, and planning for improvement. We can see ourselves in a better position 3, 6, 12 months down the road. I personally am all for it. Let’s do this thing!! I went and signed up for a gym 💪 and can’t wait to get in there and sweat it out.

The January 6 Committee has issued its final 📝 report and recommendations. The four charges that were written about President 45 are as follows. I Obstruction of an Official Proceeding. II Conspiracy to Defraud the United States III Conspiracy to make a false statement IV Incite, assists or Aid or comfort an Insurrection. Four members of Congress have Ethics referrals against them for failing to comply with the Select Committees subpoenas. These four members are Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R) Calif. Rep. Andy Biggs (R) Ariz, Rep. Jim Jordan (R) Ohio, and Rep. Scott Perry (R) Pa.

Because of the details of the report, we learned the predicament and dilemma that Cassidy Hutchins found herself in when she realized that she had to testify truthfully about the events leading up to January 6. Hutchinson was top aide to former White House Chief of staff Mark Meadows. There were establishment attorneys telling her to say “I don’t recall”. They wanted her to testify in ways that would be favorable to ‘Trump land”. They told her that 45 would be 👀 watching and thinking about her. The 45 legal team pressured her to comply. So many things have come out that showed her strength and integrity. Those are words rarely used when describing 45 and his ilk. Hutchins even had pressure and non-support from her 45 loving biological father. She has said that she was driving 🚗 around at night trying to Google how she could survive as a Whistleblower. She was alone, afraid and still managed to do the right thing for Democracy and History. My 👒 hat is off to this young lady.

And last but not least there were opening and closing statement speeches given by Liz Cheney (R) Wy. She so eloquently said the following: The majority of the witnesses in these proceedings were mostly Republicans and people 👊 appointed by 45. The President had a stark choice in front of him, without ambiguity. He made a purposeful choice to violate his oath of office, to ignore the ongoing violence against law enforcement and to threaten our Constitutional order. Then she asked “Can a President who made the choices that Donald Trump made during the violence of January 6 ever be trusted with any position of authority in our great nation again?” I am looking forward to more from her. Jamie Raskin (D) MD was also eloquent in his legal summation of the committee’s findings. We don’t know what will come of these committee recommendations. The shift of power in the Congress is about to take a hard turn to the right. We could see people like Marjorie Taylor Green (R) Ga. and Lauren Boebert (R) CO take Leadership Committee positions. I think that the Select January 6 Committee may fold. Liz Cheney lost her seat as a Congresswoman from Wyoming. I wont make any dire predictions for 2023. I will just let the year 2022 end on a high 🎼 note with the published findings of the Committee, RECLAIM!
