And then there's this!

And then there’s this!

Hello Ploggers, how are you? Happy Hump Day. The week is moving out as it always does. We are currently in Pre-Weekend and that is a good thing. Monday, Tuesday and half of Wednesday are Post Weekend. Each day is relevant as to whether the weekend is ahead of us or behind us. Last weekend my sister and I went to our hometown on a quest to get some “Apple lady” 🍎 apples. It was the day before they closed for the season. They will open again in mid August and go as long as the apples last. The trip is worth it to me because they sell apples that the don’t have in local stores, such as Whole Foods, Heinens or Giant Eagle. They have MacIntosh, and  Cortlands. I have seen poor looking Mac’s in our local stores but never Cortlands and they are my favorite. So I am happily munching really good apples knowing that I won’t get these again until months from now.

But there are some events I want to write about today. I like to write about positive stories so here goes. Last week there was an Election Denier who was hired by NBC to be a highly paid contributor and journalist. 👎She had done some Tom Foolery with pushing a story about Hugo Chavez helping to steal the election with the help of crooked voting machines. Her name is Ronna McDaniel and she is former Republican National Committee Leader since 2017. Some of the top on air reporters spoke out against her and “Poof” NBC dropped her. She offered more than a differing opinion. She offered dishonesty and contributing to “the Big Lie”. So she is gone and it is good. Let her work for a Fox or similarly conservative network. Good luck Ronna!

Another little gem to savor is a story out of Enid, Oklahoma. The man is named Judd Blevins. Blevins had been elected to the local 👎 city counsel.  He was caught on📷 film participating in the Tiki Torch Unite the Right rally in Charlottsville, Virginia in 2017. Citizens of Enid, Oklahoma found out about Blevins’ past and they put things in motion. The decision started as a Censure and evolved into petitions and a special election. It was a black man named Derwin Norwood who was a fellow councilman who supported Blevins and called for him to NOT be expelled but forgiven. The act of generous forgiveness did not save him. He is out! He is known as a White Supremist and his constituents were not having it.

I think that both of those recent ousters righted some grievous wrongs. I am filing them with the release of George Santos as US Congressman from District 5 in New York. All together they equal a triad of triumph. So there is hope. Some things are going in the right direction. Hip Hip Hooray and Reclaim!
