Child Support Forgiveness
Howdie Ploggers, how are you. I hope that you are all doing great. Try to😊 enjoy each day and love❤️ on each other. Life is good and also short. It seems like so many people leave this world all the time. Our relationships are all temporary. My advice is to cherish them, even when things are hard.
This past week has been really busy and stressful for me. I feel really blessed to have survived it. Things that happened caused me to become more humble and to be prayerful and to be patient. But being on the other side of this is a wonderful place to be. So thankful.
Earlier today I was scrolling TikTok and saw something I hadn’t seen before. With the attention that was put on black men not supporting Kamala Harris, my👂 attention was captured. When Obama spoke out, I was engaged. I did my research and did a TikTok on the subject and felt that I could move on. I even had a little TikTok argument with a follower on the topic. Then I learned that black men had a specific ask of Kamala. These men stated that they would vote for Kamala if she would provide child support forgiveness to them. What in the actual f*ck!#%^#*)!(. But lets get into it.
As a former Child Support Prosecutor I saw the most resistant men who refused to support their children. As a caveat, there were many men who did support their kids. We dealt with the most criminally resistant. We did all sorts of things to induce them to pay. We would suspend their licenses, wage attach their💵 paychecks, imprison them etc. I no longer work in that job but it still🌌 boggles my mind to know that we had to force these men to support their kids. Kids are a blessing. They didn’t ask to be brought here. Children are totally dependent on us for everything. Many consider it an honor to support and love our children. So to ask to have the owed obligation taken away is💩 so low. It is an embarrassment, that you even said that. Any man saying this should be ashamed.
I find it especially offensive that you would ask a black woman for this. You never asked 45 because you knew he wouldn’t even entertain it. The black men who have asked this disgusting request have shown their true selves and it is an ugly image. I am flabbergasted, disgusted, embarrassed and offended by the whole thing. Part of the purpose of this plog is to inform. In this case, the information is negative yet very expositive. I always try to be positive. But for this low segment of society I am completely non-plussed. My only advice to these men is to support, love and be in the lives of your 👶children. Even if your father didnt do this for you, do it for your kids. They deserve it. RECLAIM!
