Hello Ploggers, how are you. I hope you are safe and at ☮️Peace in your world. Every day I find myself in a new mood and frame of mind about it all. By “it all” I mean the election we just had. I vacillate between hope and despair. Between revengeful mirth and pure sorrow. It is very fluid and non-settling. But I realize that I must go on with my life and I do. I have a growing distaste for the media and national news. These are things I used to love a short while ago. How things have changed.
Today I was able to see The View. That is a show I used to record and watch almost immediately after getting home from work. These days I can barely tolerate a full episode. Whoopi Goldberg is one of my favorites. I also like Sunny Hostin a lot. Joy and Ana crack me up. Sarah seems like a true lightweight to me. She represents Independents. Last but not least is Allysia Farrah Griffin. She is the lone Republican. Since the election, she had asked EVERY DAY what the Democrats did wrong and how they need to fix it? She is getting on my nerves asking that. I think she does that as a way to further stick it to us. She acts all concerned and doe👀 eyed. But I never trusted her since I knew that she worked in the 45 administration. I picture her in 2016 when we were all extremely depressed about a 45 win and here she was going to work for them. I could never shake that image of her with an evil😊 grin on her Republican face.
But, the show today had Eric Adams (D) New York City Mayor. He sat in the middle of the table, held his head high and answered the questions they asked. I was surprised that he was even on the show since he is facing a 5 count Federal Indictment for Campaign Bribery and Wire Fraud. He allegedly took money from Foreign Nationals from Turkey. The indictment alleges acts from 2014 when he was Brooklyn Borough President. There are claims that he accepted lavish🎁 gifts from the Turkish Officials and in turn pressured the NYC Fire🚒 Department to open a Turkish consular building without a Fire Inspection. He still has to face the firing squad on that situation.
Adams chose his words very carefully, especially when asked about 45. He almost sounded like a surrogate for 45, although he is an elected Democrat. Adams was also very critical of Harris and the Democrats. He said that they forgot about the average American person and their kitchen table budgeting💵 issues. NO THEY DID NOT FORGET!!! They had a good and reasonable plan that they articulated over and over again. My trust in Adams is severely low these days. His appearance on The View did nothing to add to it. Many people have said that he is looking for a pardon. Who really knows? One thing for sure, I am not going to let anyone trash talk Kamala Harris and her campaign. I am in no😠 mood for that these days. RECLAIM!
