Fani Willis Fulton County District Attorney

Hello Ploggers, how are you. I am enjoying a quiet Saturday afternoon. Last weekend was super busy with Labor Day and all. Now I am happy to have some down time. I just came from Yoga and I feel extra 💪 bendy and good. I would like to take some time to write about a woman who I think is surely an American hero. This Plog will be a pleasure to write.

I am sure we are all familiar with influential magazines such as Essence, Ebony, Jet, Vogue, Glamour, People. Time etc. I personally am the person who reads as many of those as possible while in line at the Grocery store. I don’t even mind a long line as log as the 📰 magazines are good. I am suggesting that Fani Willis should grace all of these magazines. In the name of being supportive of outstanding women, lets hear it for Fani 🎆 Willis The woman is a national 👏 treasure as far as I am concerned. She is Brave, Beautiful, Smart, Expert, Well Spoken, Focused and Fearless.

Prior to her 19 person indictment coming out, the political pundits were sayings that she shouldn’t bite off more than she could chew and stay away from RICO. They were also saying she should keep it simple and not go after too many people. They were already poo pooing her before they knew what her case involved. But they didn’t know the extent of Fani and how FIERCE she is. From what I have read about her indictments, she has done a tremendous amount of investigation and research. She has put lots of dots together and formed quite the case around the 2020 election tampering. She took her time and endured lots of criticism, threats and even a fake story impugning her reputation. She has been unflappable and kept her head up.

The latest remarkable thing I have seen is her letter in response to Jim Jordan. The letter is a 9 page work of art which she signs “Yours in 📝 service Fani Willis”. She responds to an ignorant letter that Jordan wrote to her questioning her investigation of 45 and demanding that she turn over her records to him as a member of the house judiciary committee. She quickly annihilated his requests and thoroughly educated him in the process. She used pertinent case law and Constitutional precedent. She called him out on his partisan efforts to support 45. She even cited Trump v. Vance a 2020 Supreme Court case which held that a President can be investigated after his term in office🎇. She cited Bordenkircher v Hayes to point out the zone of non-interference around prosecutorial decision making. She schools Jordan on the process of privileged and protected information🎇. She called his efforts at getting privileged information as "wholly improper"🎇. She told him that instead of worrying about things he has no jurisdiction in, that he should use his influence with the DOJ to provide for the safety of victims and racist threats to her and her staff🎇. She eloquently states that she didn't even have to respond to his letter, as a matter of law but will do so voluntarily🎇. She advises him to deal with reality or reality will deal with him🎇. She debunks the notion that running for office should bar 45 or anyone else from prosecution🎇. She also mentioned that since Jordan is NOT a member of the bar, that he could pay $250 for a copy of the RICO Statue🎇. What a burn to him. He was educated as an attorney but was unable to pass the bar exam. She states point blank "Your letter makes it clear that you lack a basic understanding of the law, its practice and the ethical obligations of attorneys generally and prosecutors specifically🎇.She tells him that his efforts completely fly in the face of federalism WOW!! If you have a chance to read the 9 page letter, do it. The letter reads very fast. I am👾 embarrassed for him and I don't even like or respect him. My 👒 hat is off to Willis for all the things I mentioned and more. Please do not underestimate this woman. RECLAIM!
