First Presidential Debate

    Howdy Ploggers, how are you. I hope that we are all doing well after last Thursdayâs debate. Many are just hanging in there. But we are strong and will persevere through the storm. Politics can be very stressful andđž ugly. Waiting to see the outcome of a big election can beđľ maddening. You never know how it will go until it is over. Even then there is a lot of back and forth and battles. But in this country, you can be inundated with đ° news. There are dozens of news channels both local and national. They cover the same stories over and over. You can get crushed in the âď¸crosshairs of coverage. So here we go again. Lets talk about it. I have posted Tik Toks on the topic along with so many other people. Social media is onđĽ fire with post debate commentary. There is so much to say but this is at least part of it.
    First off the debate was sođž difficult to watch. Biden stammered, choked, cleared his throat and looked generally lost most of the time. Near the end he started to counter 45 but by then it was too late. 45 lied and lied and lied. He took credit for things that he never, ever did. He lied with a clear voice and with his whole chest. It was unbelievable. 45 was calmly lying about everything and spewing poison about how horrible our country is all due to President Biden. 45 was a complete bully and Biden seemed to shrink under pressure. Painful like a toothache.
    The next day the pundits were ruthless and many called for Biden to get out of the race. It was a bad domino effect. Few of the talking heads even gave Joe Biden a chance. But (and there is a big but here), today is a different story. I saw a headline that Biden is out raising 45 since the debate by almost double the amount. So for right now it appears that Biden is on an upwardđ swing even after a disastrous performance. Moneyđ° speaks volumes in politics.
    Biden spoke the next day in North Carolina at a fundraising event. At that event he was succinct, lucid and forceful. He admitted to his faults saying that he is old. He said he doesnât move as well as he used to. He said he doesnât debate as well as he used to. He said that he knows how to tell the truth. One of the last things he said was that âWHEN YOU GET KNOCKED DOWN YOU GET BACK UPâ! Those were powerful words. His words touched the hearts of many. Beyond that, many people recognized the blatant lies and racism of 45. Although Bidenâs performance was poor, 45âs was even worse. It was a contest where both players showed poorly but for different reasons. It seemed like a race to the bottom. So the roller coaster đ˘ ride goes on and on. We wont know until we know. Meantime we have to wait to see what other damage the Non-Supreme Court is doing on a daily basis. Generations will be affected by this pompous court. Hang in there if even by a thread and RECLAIM!
