More on the National Media
Hello Ploggers, how are you. I hope you are thriving in all that you do. Many of us are starting to feel much better. We have had a few weeks to digest the 2024 Election. It doesn’t taste any better, but it at least the shock is over. I am no longer shocked but I surely don’t 😠like it. I have been doing things to help my😍 heart and soul heal. I’m thankful that the weather is still walkable and that I have friends and family to do things with.
I hear that the National Media viewer numbers are down. I know my use for them has dwindled. I watch the local news for💨 weather and neighborhood stories. As soon as they start talking about the election, they lose me. I am so sick and tired of the media acting as if 45 was ever a valid candidate. Sick of them acting as if the two candidates were evenly matched as far as intellect, experience, integrity and the ability to explain their plans went. I am tired of all the air time and publicity they gave to 45. They pushed him and his rhetoric down our throats. They rarely fact checked him. They forgot about the age thing once Joe was out of the race. This despite that fact that Kamala just turned 60 and 45 is 78 years old. An 18 year difference existed but that was never a factor for the media anymore.
The media coverage of the two candidates was more favorable to 45 even though he met few expectations. On the other hand they constantly pushed Kamala for her policies, plans and demanded concrete answers. If her answers were too close to Biden's that was a problem. He, on the other hand was treated like a failing but favored football🏈 hero. They treated her like a Straight A student who needed to earn Honor📝 Society status with perfect attendance, a spotless record, stellar debates and perfect appearance. Her laugh was criticized. Her past dating history came into play. The media’s treatment of the two candidates was different and influential. Now they want to pick apart Kamala’s performance and what she did wrong. Well I would like to comment, loudly📢 on what the media did wrong. They did a lot wrong. So if they want to point fingers👉 and play the blame game, they need to look👀 within. RECLAIM!
