That Darn Court Again
Hello Ploggers, I hope you are well. I am doing all I can to stay afloat. Politically it has been hard to stay positive. The Roller 🎢Coaster ride is sickeningly turbulent. I focus on the beauty in life such as my family, piano🎶, gardening🌿, kitty🐱 cats, summer🌞 sun and weather life and health. Not to mention that God is so good. Let’s remember those things. Let’s hold our heads high. We are in for a fight. It’s a very important fight, but not the first or the last. A Little Perspective goes a long way.
The Non-Supreme Court continued to work for their friend and ally Donald Trump. They have allowed him another opportunity to re-gain unfettered power. They are putting him above the law. The conservatives on the court are unabashedly corrupt and predictable. MAGA must be crying in relief. This decision gives a great amount of Immunity, but not total immunity. They found a way to split the baby. They can say “we didn’t give full immunity” but they also took so much of the Jack Smith case away. Roberts can say “no one is above the law” but he says that while eating a mouthful of contradiction.
At this point I am very, very afraid. I am afraid that certain people in this country just handed unfettered power to a wannabe dictator, felon and that we will have to live with the ramifications of that for decades. So in order to save this post from being a total downer, I have a few things to say.
I feel that many people will see that 45 controls the Supreme Court and can get whatever he asks for. There will never be any justice derived from the court. People will be mobilized to get out and to Vote Blue rather than vote themselves into a Low Class Monarchy . I have seen no Monarchs who wear Orange. The American people wont want this faulty set up for a corrupt King.
Also I saw a recording of Joe Biden speaking in North Carolina the day after his debate and he was regular Joe. He was verbally and mentally intact. He admitted his faults including age, speech and walking ability. But he also said that he knows how to tell the truth. He knows how to do this job. And last but not least “When you get knocked down you get back up again”. I am praying that people will embrace the true, honest, somewhat bumbling underdog and vote for Joe. I am praying that people will see 45 for the danger that he is and his ability to get away with way more than they themselves ever could and cast him aside.
We as a Democracy were knocked down over the last week and month. The Debate was horrible to watch. But for many it was not the end of the story. The alternative to Joe Biden is intolerable to many. I personally am going to need for Joe to buck up and pull a winner out of his butt. We are in the 9th inning and we need a bases⚾️ loaded homerun. RECLAIM!
