Hello Ploggers, how are you. I hope you are all hanging on for dear life, sanity and mental health. Watch just enough news to stay informed but don’t dwell on those 24 hour news channels. You will have whiplash if you try to keep up with all the Democracy eroding Executive Orders from 45/47. Let’s get into it.
It seems that the President it try to do a huge power grab. The old sage that Congress holds the purse strings is only holding on by a thread. The age old theory of✅ Checks and Balances between branches of Government is waning. I feel like the edges are being blurred. The 6-3 Supreme Court is a useful tool for 45. They have given him enormous power. He uses them at will. So much for their wanting to right the🚢 ship. The House and Senate are Republican majority right now. Both branches are full of Sycophants waiting a chance to do the bidding of 45. I suspect that they will vote for whatever he asks. For example the Senate Confirmation hearings are split right along party lines, no matter how bad the candidate is.
Last week when we had the⛔️ freeze on all Federal Funds, many Republicans were defending that disastrous act. I heard Mike Johnson say it was a good thing. Another Republican said “they were happy about it”. Now that the whole thing upended the entire country and has been rescinded, those same Republicans are giving us Crickets. They have no backbone whatsoever and will support whatever he does no matter how low or😵 insane. So there went that branch of the government as something we could count on to keep 45 from overreaching.
This President has a voracious appetite for power. Perhaps even more than his appetite for🍔 Big Macs he he. He surely has lot of vendettas to repay. He has had 4 years to think about who he wants to exact revenge from, and he knows exactly how to get it. He is not wasting a minute in enforcing his will. It seems that anyone who worked for the Justice Department, FBI or Jack Smith on cases involving him is in real danger of losing their job. Its not that they did anything wrong other than their job. I can only imagine the feeling of having a great and high end job, that you lose because you made a powerful enemy. People are merely cogs on a game board.
This is the world we now live in. We shall rejoice and be glad in it! RECLAIM!
