The Real reason the budget is in trouble

Howdie Ploggers, how are you. Although this will post a few days later, today is my Born 🎂 Day and I took the day off work. After sleeping in, running a few errands and buying some much needed chocolate, I have decided to sit down and write a Plog. There are so many things to write about, but for today I have decided to talk about balancing the federal 💰 budget. First off, I don’t pretend to know or understand all of the intricacies of the Federal Debt and Budget. But I do understand having a certain amount of money (assets) and a certain amount of debt (liabilities).

I balance our family budget and I understand balancing the books. But when I see all the concern from Federal legislators over the future of social security, I smell a distinct 🐀rat. President 45 accomplished a few things in my book. He unleashed quiet racism and gave a boost to white supremacy👎. He rolled back regulations on many industries in ways that would hurt average Americans while simultaneously lining the pockets of the wealthy👎. i.e. the train disaster in East Palestine, Ohio. The number of workers on that 2 mile long train carrying hazardous material was reduced to two men. Many have said that the accident that occurred was inevitable. But the big accomplishment of President 45 was the big 2018 Paul Ryan Tax Cut👎. The tax cut cost the budget $4 Trillion over the next 10 years. It was a substantial cut and we have not even seen the full effect of it yet. So when I hear the Republicans talking about gutting social security I see what they are trying to do. When I saw Kevin McCarthy saying in his acceptance speech that he wanted to make cuts to the IRS as the first bill he would introduce, I also knew what he was doing.

It is obvious to me that if I buy a huge 💎 diamond for myself using my credit card, I am going to have to adjust my other budgetary items. In my case, it would be a cut in clothes, or new shoes or something that I could squeeze in order to make it possible for me to keep that budget busting diamond. The diamond in this case is the Paul Ryan tax cuts for the wealthy. McCarthy and other Republicans are trying to squeeze our Social Security and calling it an entitlement. 📣📣SOCIAL SECURITY IS NOT AN ENTITLEMENT!!! Sorry for yelling. Social Security should also not be sacrificed to pay for the Paul Ryan extravagant tax cuts for the wealthy. Why don’t we find other ways to pay the bills? The giant tax cut for the wealthy was not a necessity for the solvency of our country. It was just a goal of Paul Ryan's. Now they are looking for ways to finance it by threatening the very survival of older and disabled Americans. They are trying to take our money that we paid without telling us that they need it to pay for a big unnecessary diamond. Did they think it would never come out? Did they think we were too stupid to put two and two together? It is not our fault that you wanted a huge diamond that you could not afford! Creative financing is needed now more than ever. Cuts in some areas will have to happen but NOT in Social Security. We non-millionaires should be so mad and we should shout "Hands off our Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid" and RECLAIM!
