This Black Guy From North Carolina
Hello Ploggers, how are you all. I hope you are thriving. As I write this it is the night we Spring forward to Daylight🌞 Savings time. Yay!! That is a hopeful time of the year. Spring and Summer are coming. I have been seeing horrible sound bites about a Politician from North Carolina. Lets get into it.
The Politician sounds very dangerous and therefore we should know and talk about him. His name is Mark Keith Robinson and he is The elected Lieutenant Governor of the state. The current governor is a Democrat named Roy Cooper. Currently 26 states elect a lieutenant governor on a ticket with the governor. 17 states elect a lieutenant governor separately. The current Attorney General and Secretary of State are also Democrats. Governor Cooper is term limited and can not run for a third consecutive term. Robinson recently won his primary for the Governorship of the state. The Democrat he will run against is Josh Stein. Robinson is endorsed by President 45. Robinson is a black MAGA loving man. He has said some unsavory and unbelievable things. He is a native of Greensboro N.C. and a proud Army veteran. He and his wife have two children and two grandchildren. He was the 9th of 10 children and grew up extremely poor. His father was an abusive alcoholic. His mother a strong woman who believed in hard work. On a personal note, the Ex Army status combined with being raised by an abusive alcoholic father are sending up bright red 🚫 flags all over the place for this guy.
He promotes various far right conspiracy theories. He is a Holocaust denier. He is anti LGBT, anti-semitic, racist, anti-atheist and Islamaphobic. He has said that school shootings are nothing more than Karma for Pro Choice people. He is a fierce proponent of the second amendment. He is open about the fact that he and his wife Yolanda chose to abort their child in 1989. He now refers to that decision as wrong. He is another Republican who used elective abortion for his own purposes, but wants to deprive others from doing the same thing. In other words, "what's good for the goose is NOT good for the gander".
From what I can tell, he is a much different than the type of Coon Tim Scott clearly is. Scott will smile and dance and tell 45 that he loves him. His approach is like a more docile Set and Fetchit type. Robinson seems much more edgy and angry than Scott. He seems just as self-hate filled as Clarence Thomas. Thomas is an Uncle Tom with an edge. I frequently refer to him as Uncle Ruckus. Robinson is going for the attention in a hugely negative way. He is garnering tons of attention with his outrageous and unpopular claims. His closeness to 45 is also remarkable. 45 has shown himself to be racist and this guy is similarly racist. 45 is loud and obnoxious, so is this guy. 45 is a dystopic, MAGA Republican, so is this guy. It is amazing. They could be brothers.
What is even more amazing is that the people of North Carolina actually support this guy. I predict he will lose in the general election, just as what happened in Kentucky with Daniel Cameron. Residents of the Deep South will likely not elect a black man as head of their state, even if he is saying the same racist things they believe. There is just one problem, he is still a big black male. If it goes like Kentucky, they will rather support a white Democrat than a black male to lead them. But one thing for sure, time will tell the story. In the meantime we will hear lots of rhetoric from this big, black guy from North Carolina. His 😤 mouth seems to know no bounds or limitations. Take it with a grain of salt and RECLAIM!
