Good evening Ploggers. How are you all? Today was a beautiful šŸ fall day in Northeast Ohio. Earlier in the week it was going down into the 30ā€™s overnight and today was mid 70ā€™s. A nice IndianšŸŒž summer day. I am betting that many of you are suffering from a case of the nerves about the upcoming election. This is the time I wish I could just turn it off and be ignorant of what is going on but I can not do that. It is fearful just to turn away from things that are being said. I am afraid that I might miss something crucial if I relax my vigilance. So here I sit with ears and eye open.

Nationally there are numerous debates going on. Of course they are televised as all šŸ‘€ eyes are watching certain states. A trend I am seeing is Democratic politicians blasting their opponents while they just sit there and donā€™t even try to defend themselves. If they do defend themselves and their records they are noticeably passionless. This was not the case with Herschel Walker. He did try to defend and bring out his prop Police šŸŒŸ badge but he was soundly scolded by the moderator to put it away, much like a naughty school child. Walker didnā€™t even show up for the second planned debate with Warnock. A shame because I am pretty sure it would have been entertaining.

I was particularly interested in the Ohio Senate debate between Tim Ryan and JD Vance. Ryan humiliated Vance over his handling of the introduction that 45 gave him at a rally in Ohio. If you missed it, 45 said that Vance was kissing his ass for his endorsement. After 45 said that Vance came on stage and shook hands with him and both of them yucked it up. Vance seems to have no pride or backbone at all. He is in line with Cruz and B*tch McConnell who didnā€™t even defend their wives when 45 criticized them. Vance stood there while Ryan told the story and looked annoyed. He didnā€™t respond much to Ryanā€™s direct hit. Very interesting indeed. Ryan went on to say that we need a fighter in Washington not a šŸŽ puppet who smiles and says nothing through a public humiliation by a bully. I think Ryan scored big against Vance. Vance has since released a retaliatory commercial. But sometimes when you miss the window, you can never come back and say anything.

The other debate I saw was Val Demmings against Marco Rubio. If you missed that one, she dominated and blasted šŸ’« him. He sat there looking sheepish and mumbled some weak non-sense about unstoppable crazed gunmen and the second amendment. He came away looking weak and powerless. She was strong and unrelenting. Demmings is a former police chief of the Orlando county Police Department in Florida. He could not say anything to top her on anything gun violence and šŸš” police support related. I noticed he talks with a slight lisp, very softly and very condescendingly. His demeanor belies his Hispanic roots. Any way Demmings is already a Congresswoman and I am rooting for a strong woman like her to go to the Senate. I think she is smart, šŸ’Ŗ strong and fearless. She clearly stated that a womanā€™s right to control her own body is a necessity. Also the caption for the picture above was "this one is real". Val Demmings gets my support and she can help us to RECLAIM!
