Hello Ploggers, how are you. I am feeling especially 😆 happy and lifted up today. Every day is what you make it, but current events can have their effect too. I was watching the news last night and it actually made me feel happy and grateful. That is certainly worth a Plog.
The event I am talking about was the return of former prisoners from Russia. The three were Evan Gershkovich (Wall Street Journal Journalist), Paul Whelan (Marine Veteran), and Alsu Kurmasheva (Radio Journalist). I watched as they de-planed and walked back into their free lives. They were met by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and then their families. Their return was made possible by lots of negotiation, diplomacy and good will as national allies. Six countries were involved. Two dozen hostages were returned to various countries. So our event was shared by others around the world as they got to see and embrace their loved ones return. And don’t forget that Brittany Greiner was returned from a Russian prison in December 2022. She is currently playing basketball🏀 in the Paris Olympics.
Right away there was a press release from JD Vance concerning this joyous event. He gave credit to 45 and his toughness. He said that Russia was cleaning house before 45 returned out of fear of his second term. LOL LOL LOL😅 HA HA HA!!! JD that is laughable and you are a really funny guy. Our NATO allies and Europe in general watch our country and follow our news through a Non-American and therefore unbiased Press. They are keenly aware of politics. Also they are very in favor of Joe Biden. I believe that the return of the prisoners was a result of Joe Biden and his excellent negotiation and diplomacy capabilities. I believe that the world knows and trusts Joe Biden. I have come to the conclusion that MAGA Americans are the only ones who support the instability of a second 45 term.
So while Joe Biden is finishing out his term he is working hard. He is making headway in things that were long forgotten. But Joe Biden asked himself if he was willing to allow Americans to rot in prison. His answer was a clear no. Joe Biden has been picked👍 for a Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination came from a British Parliamentarian. I personally hope he gets it. Biden was seen running across the tarmac during the prisoner return. He was called by the press corp and he ran toward them. He was strong in his responses to their questions. He controlled what he wanted to answer or not. I loved watching him in that strong moment. I think he owed the press nothing. But he did want to reach out to us the American news consuming public. Kudos for putting us above his personal feelings.
I believe that the hostages will have to become re-acclimated to their lives as free Americans. I don’t know how this will happen but I hope it is smooth for them. RECLAIM!
