Hello Ploggers, how are you. Today is Sunday July 14, 2024 but this plog will be published on Friday July 19, 2024. My timing is slightly off but I am trying to persevere. We are just back from vacation and I am so glad to be here. There is no place like 🏡home. Home means your own stuff,🏨 bed, 🍏food,🐶 pets, the good the bad and the ugly. Of course recently there was the “attempt” on the life of 45 in Butler, Pennyslvania. The event happened at a 45 Rally. So lets talk about it.
Let me start by saying that I believe that the attempt was suspicious/shady. Have you ever slammed one of your 👆fingers really hard? Have you ever been struck by a foreign object that pierced into the flesh of your body? Do you remember how you felt when it happened? I bet you almost fainted. You may have lost consciousness. At the very least your heart ❤️rate sped up due to the fight or flight adrenaline response that your body experienced. You had absolutely no control over that. Your body’s defense mechanisms took over. I bet you weren’t fist✊👊 pumping right after.
One time I smashed my👈 finger in the garage door. I will never forget it. I was only in my 20’s yet I almost fainted right there in my driveway. The pain and the body responses were overwhelming to me. So how could this 78 year old man endure an AR style rifle shot and then stand up and fist pump underneath an American flag. What an incredible photo📷 op.
A young man lost his life in the fracas. His name was Thomas Matthew Crooks. He was 20 years old and he was a registered Republican. He was a nursing home kitchen worker who came from a well to do family from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. He used an AR style rifle which his father bought. He graduated in 2022 from Bethel Park High School with a $500 prize/scholarship for “math and science. A suspicious 💣“Bomb” type device was found in Crook’s🚗 car. He also had the detonator for the device. When in High School, Crooks tried out for the rifle team but was unsuccessful and never tried again. Crooks later belonged to a shooting club.
A 50 year old man was killed and two others were injured. The shooter Crooks, lost his life by the Secret Service snipers. A tragedy for sure. As I look at pictures of Crooks his youthful face reminds me of Dylan Roof who shot the church members in South Carolina. He also reminds me of "Crying" Kyle Rittenhouse. All young white men who were radicalized and filled with hate. They were all considered quiet, normal boys until they weren’t. They all killed other human beings and made national news. In our current society, we learn of killings every day. It is only the super heinous that shock us and cause us to slow down.
No matter the outcome and fallout of this shooting in Pennsylvania, I know one thing for certain. For sure I will maintain my support for Joe Biden for President. I also know that 45 has sewn so much hate into the world that it is inevitably leaking our all over the place. It is not just in Buffalo, New York, or onto Paul Pelosi, or in Charlottsville, etc. Once it is out of the bottle it is hard to control. Heaven help us all and RECLAIM!
