“Who’s the Boss?”
Hi Ploggers, how are you. Things are getting so strange these days. The fact that most of us are still working our jobs and going about our business is pretty amazing. Bravo for us all. We deserve a hearty hand. Let’s be generous in complementing ourselves. Sometimes if you don’t complement yourself, no one else will. So let her rip.
I saw the most bizarre video the other day. It was one of those things that is only a reality in a Trump 2.0 Presidency. It was not that we are now calling The Gulf of Mexico The Gulf of America. Although that was shocking enough to my sensitivities. I was extra shocked to hear that “we” are now planning to swoop in and claim Gaza. Never mind that the Palestinians claim it as their home land. Through no fault of their own, the place is now war torn. So war torn that 47 has decided to displace all of them to neighboring countries of Egypt and Syria. Both countries and the Palestinians have said “no” to this but still 47 plods on about it.
No, the most disturbing thing I saw was a picture of 47 sitting in the Oval Office behind the desk. Next to him stood Elon Musk giving a talk about something. Under the desk was “Little Elon” playing. It was reminiscent of a picture from the 1960’s with JFK and JFK Jr Presiding and playing. You guys, he is posing as our beloved JFK. JFK our Democratic, American, classic, tragic and most importantly elected 34th President. Yes, this was about as disturbing as things get. Even those who voted for 47 did not vote for this. Elon is posing, acting and claiming power as a President. There is something about the act of playing a part. Playing it well enough will convince people that you are the thing you are acting as. What in the name of Camelot is going on here? Also I wonder how newly appointed HHS boss RFK Jr felt about this imitation of life. Oh well, I am sure there is more to come and we will be there for it. If nothing else, to call it out. Somebody has to. RECLAIM!
