Give Us a Break

Hello Ploggers, how are you. The work week is starting out pretty typically. Mondays in winter can be brutal. Cold 😮‍💨weather, early wake up times and work are all waiting for us. But when we are in the official🎄 holiday season everything seems nicer. People are nicer. Parties are everywhere. Lights are✨ twinkling and the air is different. I say enjoy it because it will go by fast.

If you are like me you are sick of seeing video of and hearing about President 45. He gets so much free press and attention it is ridiculous. He doesn’t even have to pay for it. Many public people would kill for that chance. Free publicity is the best. The ego massage that is involved in that must be totally addictive for him. I remember his speaking and gloating about it back in 2016. The New York Times said that he got $1.9 💸Billion of free attention from media of all types. In 2016 he was so outrageous and expertly used the media to his advantage while we all stood by in disbelief. We had never seen anything like him before. His antics made it so unlikely that he would succeed as a leader but he did. He caught us by surprise for sure. But he can never do it again. By now we are all used to his shtick! We have seen him make fun of the disabled, lie about knowing David Duke or anyone else he chooses to deny. We have heard him say that Mexicans are rapists, thugs and murderers, we also saw him be arrested for numerous charges. His continual contempt of court antics are chronicled daily. So at this point we have all seen his show, his whole *ss. Enough! I have seen enough. So I am proposing a vacation from him.

I think it would be so nice if all major news outlets took a 1 week vacation from covering him. Other stories are there and need to be covered. It would be like a world before 2016. Of course the reporters could keep working on their stories and publish them all once the week was over. I think it would be so refreshing. Chances are he would keep doing his usual outrageous stuff. What else does he ever do? All 45 junkies could catch up quick as a flash.

This is obviously my dream or fantasy. It most likely will not happen. The Press will continue to be flooded and enamored with 45. They jump through hoops to have the biggest stories about him. I am sure that whole departments have been developed just to cover him. I cant help but think of all the other stories of decent people who never get coverage because of the over exposure of this one guy. Please give us a break and RECLAIM!
